THE INVENTOR

Our host, Johnny Strange, fondly referred to as ‘The Inventor’; brings his cluster of outrageous and quite frankly, dangerous, inventions to the stage - ranging from his patent pending 'Transsphenoidal Drill’ all the way up to his souped-up steam powered chainsaw. Living proof that genius knows no bounds.
THE TIME TRAVELLER​
​
Katie Trickett, the girl in the clockwork collar, has travelled through time and space acquiring an arsenal of dangerous skills; from knife throwing and sword manipulation to walking barefoot up a ladder of machetes this leading lady is lightyears ahead of her time.
THE SCIENTIST​
​
Our mad-cap scientist is an eccentric, erratic and peculiar; 100% certified, quack. Believed to be the love child of Albert Einstein and Leonardo Da Vinci, she got lost along the way. She’s got a degree from the university of life, a diploma from the college of chance and three gold stars from the school of hard knocks.
THE NAVIGATOR​

Once the chief navigator of the greatest airship of all time, 'The Juggernaut 4000', but as times grew hard she was soon left with no other alternative than joining forces with the good ship Steampunk Circus - bringing her peculiar set of skills with her.
THE AVIATOR​

This aeronaut with a head for heights has ditched their flying craft all together, opting for a more hands on approach. wether it’s on a hoop, trapeze or aerial silks our resident aviator prefers nothing more than just 'hanging around’.

THE CHEMIST​
​
Thought to be one of the greatest potions experts in the universe, this biochemist gone rogue, has turned his attention to the lost art of Bubbleology. He once created a elixir so potent he managed to fully encase the Atzelberg Tower in a giant soap bubble, floating it 7 feet off the ground, before authorities apprehended him.
THE OPHIOLOGIST

Meet The Ophiologist! This stunning steampunk pirate has a flair for charming serpents!
Ophiology is the specific study of snakes and this member of the troupe handles them so well - she might even be cold blooded herself!
THE PYROTECHNICIAN ​
This performer’s skills need little explanation. If it’s hot, fiery and dangerous the Pyrotechnician wants in. After getting expelled for making dynamite in chemistry class, a life in the Steampunk Circus allows this explosive character to experiment with all kinds of burning performance!
THE PRESTIDIGITATOR​
​
Every circus needs an illusionist and the Prestidigitator always has a trick up their sleeve. This conjurer fools and baffles audiences with cunning stunts and sleight of hand.
THE PISTON TWINS​
​
Although we don’t know who they are, where they came from or how they got here, The Piston Twins soon established themselves as a fan favourite - Two stilt walkers, towering high above the rest, at a staggering 11.5ft tall don’t let their steely exterior fool you, they are soft and gooey on the inside with an intricate system of cogs and gears that is a close second to the human heart.
